Levels of Care
LEVEL I (Supportive Care)
The assisted living service plan is designed for those who need minimal assistance but prefer the security, warmth and social environment offered by this community.
  • Choice of deluxe apartment, suite, private or companion room
  • Assistance with eating (cutting meats, using condiments, etc.)
  • Assistance with bathing and dressing
  • Daily administrations and monitoring of medications
  • All utilities including telephone and cable TV
  • 24-hour-a-day response to emergency call system
  • Three nutritious and balanced meals served daily
  • Stimulating and planned activities and social events
  • Scheduled local transportation
  • Daily well-living checks
  • Weekly housekeeping/laundry services
  • On-site beauty/barber shop

LEVEL II (Enhanced Care)
This service plan includes all the Ashlan Village Supportive Care services, plus:

  • Mealtime monitoring
  • Assistance with daily hygiene
  • Assistance to and from dining and activities
  • Evening and night time periodic and well-being checks
  • Incidental incontinence program
LEVEL III (Comprehensive Care)
This service plan includes all the Ashlan Village Supportive Care and Enhanced Care services, plus:
  • Hands-on assistance with daily hygiene
  • Chronic incontinence management
  • Support with transfers that usually require one staff person.

LEVEL IV (Special Care)
This service plan includes all the Ashlan Village Supportive Care and Enhanced Care services, plus:

  • Code-accessible entrances to ensure the security of residents
  • Restraint-free philosophy
  • Assistance with daily living
  • Personalized care plans that emphasize strengths as well as needs
  • Dietary plan designed to meet the needs of residents with declining memory that includes healthy snacks
  • Housekeeping, linen, and laundry services
  • Daily activities designed for residents with memory impairment
